Van Life - Nevada - Castle and Mines

On my way to Grand Junction Colorado I stopped outside the little town of Austin Nevada to do some exploring. My first morning I hiked up a draw to where some Cottonwood trees were growing. I then drove into the town of Austin Nevada and up to Stokes Castle. Stokes Castle was built back in 1897 by Anson Phelps Stokes. I then moved on to find a location to spend the night and found an old mine site with old rock building and a gorgeous view of the Nevada desert valley.
